Short Bio
Vladimir Vlassov, PhD, is an Associate Professor of computer systems at the Department of Software and Computer Systems, School of Information and Communication Technology, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He joined KTH in 1993. In 1998, he worked as a visiting scientist at Laboratory for Computer Science (LCS), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge , MA , USA. In 2004, he was an invited visiting researcher at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Massachusetts (UMASS), Amherst , MA , USA Dr Vlassov has experience in national and international research projects and a long teaching experience in the areas of distributed and parallel computing.
